G Suite has a easy to use way to video conference and share your screen with your team! If you have had difficulties video conferencing with your present service, now is the time to check out Google’s easy to use solution. You can join meetings directly from a Calendar event or email invite. All the important event details are right there when you need them, whether you’re joining from a laptop, phone, or the conference room. No need for plugins, downloading a zip file, or complicated login. You can use your favorite mobile device since Google makes it easy for all platforms. All you need is a Gmail account, a mobile device with the Hangouts Meet app or use Chrome on a computer. You can start a meeting from a browser, a mobile phone, or create a Calendar event that includes a video meeting link. Using the Chrome browser simply go to http://meet.google.com
And if you don’t have WiFi you can still dial into a meeting with a special dial in number provided by Google so you listen to the meeting via your mobile phone and not miss out.
Requirements
A G Suite user must initiate the meeting, but anyone with a Gmail account can join the meeting provided they have the correct app (Android and iOS G Suite users need the specially designed Hangouts Meet app) on their mobile device or use the Chrome browser on a computer with the latest versions of the apps. If you need instructions on how to start a meeting, Google provides easy to use step by step instructions. If you need to JOIN A MEETING follow these steps. Watch this short video and see how easy it is!
For those of you who only have the free consumer Gmail account you can use the Google Duo app which allows you to video meet with your friends using either Android, iOS or other devices.
